The bride featured below is wearing a fashion-forward bridal gown by Claire de Lune. Floral embroidered details appear from beneath sheer layers of tiered tulle. Additionally, added layers of tulle detail cover the shoulders for a fresh take on a butterfly sleeve. Although the botanic garden provided a lush tract of hanging vines and blooms on full display, the reception space further displayed voluminous blooms. In keeping with the idea of a simple afternoon, guest seating was set in the midst of the venue. In a garden clearing, a long family-style table was set, ready for guests to partake in celebrating the bride and groom. Low-profile floral arrangements were curated in shades of creamy pink and ivory. Allowing enough room for relaxed conversations while drawing on the surrounding ambiance. Individual settings awaited guests with custom-crafted menus atop each plate and lightly colored stemware and glasses waiting to be filled with libations.

My approach for photographing this garden wedding in Colorado was to capture the essence of the intertwined atmosphere. In the moment, a garden wedding can certainly feel magical,  and transoportive. Consequently, the goal was to display that distinctive vibe, with each and every frame. Using the garden pathways, stone structures, and the glowing light peeking through the thicket worked to translate the experience of this garden wedding into wedding day photos to look back on for a lifetime.
