A stunning venue in Aspen, Viceroy Snowmass hosts weddings in a pastoral setting for couples who wish to embrace the beauty of Aspen on their wedding day. This mountain setting provided the idyllic backdrop for Megan and Blake’s wedding weekend, paving the way for an unforgettable union.

Viceroy Snowmass Wedding Weekend

A full weekend of celebrations was planned for this Viceroy Snowmass wedding. Which all began with an elegant welcome party. The day before they were wed, Megan and Blake mixed and mingled with their guests, enjoying a savory food and beverage experience while connecting with those they love most. This breakout event allowed them to set the tone for an immersive Viceroy Snowmass wedding day.

Open Air Wedding Ceremony on Snowmass Wedding Terrace

Megan and Blake’s wedding ceremony was held in the open-air Snowmass wedding terrace. This stunning location feels as if it’s floating, high above the rest of the world. It directly overlooks the Roaring Fork Valley, with surrounding panoramic ridgeline views. This space was designed with the beauty of the mountain range in mind, henceforth providing a sense of awe and wonder to all who host or attend a wedding here.

Staying true to their overall wedding day vision, Megan and Blake worked with their wedding florist to add color to this space through abundant florals. Aisle arrangements, reminiscent of the wildflowers found in the mountains, lined either side of the stone walkway. Guests were welcomed to this serene setting before Megan and her father made their grand entrance. 

The descending stone steps allowed the bride to enjoy a leisurely walk towards the altar. These last few pre-wedding moments were filled with joy as Megan approached her groom. Her friend and family were on either side, attending this joyous occasion. 

The couple’s incredibly heartfelt vows were exchanged with the members of their wedding party standing solemnly beside them. As they were pronounced in marriage, a mini celebration erupted with cheers filling the crisp mountain air.

An Aspen Wedding Full of Thoughtfully Planned Details

In addition to floral designs, Megan and Blake’s Aspen wedding was filled with personalized touches that drew on the details of their life together, all in all showcasing their love story. During cocktail hour, guests were treated to libations on the deck just under the ski lift. Custom-crafted his and hers drinks awaited, along with cocktail napkins depicting their beloved fur baby.

Altogether, their Viceroy Snowmass wedding reception was a continuation of intentional design and planning, with elements that surprised and delighted their guests. A towering four-tier all-white wedding cake awaited the bride and groom, flanked by an incredibly detailed groom’s cake, which was an homage to the couple’s shared faith. 

Lush florals adorned guests’ tables with additional arrangements showcased throughout the venue, including suspended installations. Undoubtedly, every touch point of their Viceroy Snowmass wedding reception offered an unparalleled experience. Jeweled-toned glassware, custom menus, and rich linens welcomed guests to a night of celebration honoring Megan and Blake’s love story.

When Megan and Blake were announced, they emerged on the dance floor together. Their ballroom dancing skills undeniably surprised guests with their beautiful take on a first dance together as a married couple. Their love for shared moments on the dance floor continued later into the evening when they enjoyed a private last dance as their guests lined up for their wedding exit.

To top off the evening, as Megan and Blake made their grand exit, a flurry of confetti showered them on either side before making their getaway.
