There are two distinct locations within The Little Nell, to host your Aspen wedding ceremony, outdoors.

The Wedding Deck

Located nearly three miles above Aspen, The Wedding Deck at The Little Nell offers a breathtaking mountain view for your wedding ceremony. It all begins with a gondola ride to the top where your wedding ceremony setup awaits. This space is ideal for outdoor Aspen weddings taking place in the summer or fall.

Wedding Overlook

Do you envision stepping off a gondola on a beautiful Colorado mountaintop to say I do? At over 11,00 feet of elevation, The Wedding Overlook at The Little Nell is one of the most picturesque locations to host your Aspen Wedding. Indoor Aspen Wedding Venues

Wedding reception celebrations at The Little Nell take place indoors, in one of two locations.

The Sundeck

Located at a staggering elevation with spectacular views of the Elk Mountains, the Sundeck is an open floor plan with panoramic windows, perfect for your wedding reception celebration. This space features a stone fireplace and wood beam ceilings.

Total Capacity | The Sundeck of The Little Nell can accommodate up to 250 seated guests, or up to 500 guests for a flowing reception.

The Aspen Mountain Club

A bright white space with idyllic views, The Aspen Mountain Club can be used to host your cocktail hour or your elegant wedding dinner reception. The atmosphere at the Mountain Club is cozy and intimate with white walls and window seating.

Total Capacity | The Aspen Mountain Club at The Little Nell can accommodate up to 76 guests seated, or up to 108 guests seated using slim chairs. For a flowing reception, The Aspen Mountain Club can accommodate up to 250 guests.

Wedding Catering at The Little Nell

Catering for your wedding at The Little Nell is courtesy of the in-house culinary staff. The highly trained culinary experts at The Little Nell offer couples the chance to create a customized wedding menu with inventive signature cocktails, themed hors d’oeuvres, and a multi-course dinner for an exquisite dining experience on the night of your wedding.

The total cost of your wedding at The Little Nell will be dependent upon a number of factors. You can expect to pay a base venue along with an added  ‘per person’ amount for your food and beverage experience.

Additional FAQs About Hosting Your Wedding at The Little Nell

Is a wedding planner required?

Yes. If you intend to host your wedding at The Little Nell, you will be required to work with a full-service wedding planner. You are not required to select a wedding planner from the venue vendor list, however, the venue will need to approve the wedding planner you choose to work with.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

Yes, there is a gondola fee, which will be applicable to each hour of your wedding. This begins from the first upload (guest or wedding vendor) to the last download (guest or wedding vendor). 

Does The Little Nell offer ceremonies only?

No. The Little Nell is an all-inclusive Aspen wedding venue and is best for couples who wish to host their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location. 

Can I host my winter wedding ceremony outdoors?

The short answer is yes, but there are certain restrictions around this. Early winter wedding ceremonies will need to be held indoors. Meanwhile, beginning in mid-March, you can host your wedding ceremony outdoors. 

Are Weddings at The Little Nell dog-friendly?

You are absolutely welcome and encouraged to include your furbaby in your wedding ceremony at The Little Nell.

What is the elevation of The Little Nell?

Not exactly wedding-related, but people are always curious! The hotel is located at the base of the mountain. However, The Wedding Deck of The Little Nell boasts 11,212 feet of elevation.
